“Le plan d’eau de Metz ” is one of the biggest green areas in Metz and its surrounding; it’s located right in the heart of the city. It is a serene park that has a lot of outdoor activities for younger and elder people, such as canoe, rowing, skateboarding and playground for children. It offers relaxation areas and activities such as dancing fountains, hot air balloons departure and mini cruise.

 

People who enjoy walking or biking can see themselves get to the beautiful botanical garden and other unique destinations walking/ riding along the “Moselle”. It is very similar to the “Parc Napoléon” in Thionville but it is a lot bigger.
